I read The Journal of Albion Moonlight by Kenneth Patchen a long time ago. I’ve had an idea to write a daily reflection on each of these journal entries on the day of the year that they occurred. This summer is the time.

The journal is written from May 2nd to August 27th. I’m feeling a kinship with Albion Moonlight with this plague summer that we are starting in 2019. While the past 2+ years here in the United States of America cannot compare to World War 2…We are rapidly spiraling out of control with the dismantling of our democracy by the Trump administration and Republican complicity in these actions.
